Awards & Honors

*The Grand Sovereign's Ceremonial Coronation Crown, Coronation Mantle, Ceremonial Crimson Robe of State, Scepter, and Orb:  All official coronation/ceremonial regalia is exclusive to the Monarch and after photos are taken, will remain in the possession of the national office to be presented at the next crowning/coronation.

*The Crown Princess' Ceremonial Robe of State:  This is a blue royal robe exclusive to the Crown Princess and will remain in the possession of the national office to be presented at the next crowning.

*Hotel:  All SM titleholders will be responsible for the incidental deposits upon check-in into the hotel.  SM will not be responsible for Pet Fees or any damage done to the hotel by the contestant and/or pet.  The Sovereign will be granted a single room with two beds for her and the royal entourage to enjoy.  The Aristocracy will share a room with 2 beds with a sister-queen or staff-member.

*The Royal Entourage:    As part of her reign, the Grand Sovereign is entitled to bring three (3) personally selected individuals, known as "Her Majesty's Royal Entourage", to accompany her to all pageant-related events, free of charge*. These individuals are considered an extension of the Grand Sovereign, representing her closest confidants and supporters.
 

• Eligibility:
  The members of the entourage can be a spouse, family member, close friend, or any individual the Grand Sovereign wishes to honor with this role as long as they're of good moral character.

• Privileges:

  • The Royal Entourage may share the room that is reserved for the Sovereign.

  • The Royal Entourage receives VIP access to all pageant events and activities, including exclusive seating and recognition during official ceremonies. 

  • Members will be formally introduced to the populace at coronation and finals night to honor their connection with the Grand Sovereign.

• Guidelines:

  • The number of entourage members (3) may only be increased under special circumstances.

  • At official ceremonies such as coronation, finals night, and other formal events, the Royal Entourage must “look the part” in appropriate, formal attire, as they will be introduced to the populace.

  • Their attire should complement the elegance and decorum of the pageant, adhering to any specific dress code outlined by the Director.

• Access Restrictions:

  • The Royal Entourage does not have access to dressing rooms or backstage areas. These areas are reserved exclusively for delegates and authorized staff.

  • While the Royal Entourage may accompany the Grand Sovereign at events, they are not permitted to interfere with the official duties of the Grand Sovereign, the pageant staff or contestants.  *Minors within the Entourage must be the responsibility of another member of the Royal Entourage who is not the Grand Sovereign.

• Code of Conduct

  • Royal Entourage members must conduct themselves in a manner that reflects the values and integrity of the Sovereign Miss Pageant.

  • Any behavior deemed inappropriate or disruptive may result in removal from entourage at the discretion of the Executive Director and cost of the entourage member in question.

*Multi-Pass Lanyard:  The Multi-Pass Lanyard grants entry to ticketed events during pageant week.  This does not include events where meals are served.  However, tickets may be purchased by your guests, upon request.

*The Order of the Realm:  This is a custom-made Chain of Office that will be presented to the outgoing Grand Sovereign at the end of her reign.  It signifies the royal office she once held and can be worn at any SM national occasion.  Wearing it will grant the former Grand Sovereign and one guest entry into any SM ticketed event in perpetuity (With the exception of events where meals are served) .  However, tickets may be purchased upon request.  *This is exclusive to SM Grand Sovereigns.  The donning of the livery collar for entry into events is required.

*Crown Jewels:  Each Monarch throughout history has boasted of a plethora of crowns and jewels to choose from and to wear for any occasion.  This will be offered to the winner of the overall high-point score winner of the pageant and she will receive them throughout the year from The Office of the Steward of the Crown.

*The Book of Sovereigns:  a cherished, historical keepsake which will be passed down from one Grand Sovereign to the next in the Sovereign Miss Pageant System. Accessible only by the reigning Grand Sovereign, the founder, or a designated representative of the founder, this secret and privileged journal captures personal reflections,  and experiences throughout her year's reign. Each Grand Sovereign is required to make at least twelve entries during their reign, ensuring the legacy and spirit of Sovereign Miss are preserved for future generations. Note:  this book must be returned at next year's sovereign miss pageant and the obligation of entries must be complete for the reign to be fulfilled.
