Each delegate must exude grace, poise, elegance and sophistication. Judges will be evaluating the gown and how well it suits the delegate (e.g., fit, color, style) as well as the delegate's on-stage presentation. Modeling performance should reflect the standard "Miss Universe Organization" walk.
Details: Videos from other pageant performances are prohibited without written permission from the pageant owner. Your video should be filmed as if you are on a runway. See example under Fashion Wear Details. Contestants may walk a circle instead of turning in gowns if needed at the second stop. No editing is allowed. The video should be a straight shoot from beginning to end.
Attire: Evening gowns must be floor-length. Sophistication counts! All delegates are permitted to wear an evening gown of their choice.
Age appropriate designs are a must for teens. Remember, the Sovereign is a model for all royalty. See our EXAMPLES page.
Judging Criteria: Modeling Ability, stage presence, sophistication and overall impression.
Scoring: Evening gown counts for 20% of the total score.
NOTE: All noticeable tattoos must be covered.
