Terms and Conditions of Application and Participation

By submitting an application to the Sovereign Ms. Pageant, each applicant acknowledges that she has read, understood, and agrees to the following terms and conditions:

1. Eligibility

Applicants must meet all published eligibility requirements, including age requirements, residency requirements, and any other criteria established by the organization.

The Sovereign Ms. Pageant is an age-specific competition for women 40 and above.

This is not a size-specific pageant, but rather a celebration of women from all walks of life, where each delegate is judged on the same standard.

Submission of an application does not guarantee acceptance into the pageant.

2. Application and Fees

All entry and ancillary fees, including any applicable payment processing fees (such as PayPal fees), are the responsibility of the applicant and are non-refundable and non-transferable.

 

Entry and ancillary fees are applied toward production expenses, including venue costs, judges’ expenses, supplies, prizes, and related event obligations; accordingly, neither such fees nor related processing fees can be refunded in the event of withdrawal, disqualification, inability to attend, scheduling conflicts, or other circumstances.

3. Accuracy of Information

Applicants certify that all information submitted is true, accurate, and complete.

Misrepresentation or omission of material information may result in disqualification or forfeiture of awards or titles.

4. Awards, Titles, and Placements

All official titles, placements, awards, honors, and recognitions are awarded in accordance with the official judging process, score tabulation, and established procedures of the organization. Submission of an application does not guarantee placement, title assignment, advancement, or receipt of awards. All decisions of the judges and the organization are final.

There shall be one Grand Sovereign, awarded to the delegate receiving the highest overall score in the entire competition. Each age division shall also have a Division Sovereign. The Grand Heiress is not a separate stand-alone title, but is awarded to the Division Sovereign receiving the second-highest overall score across all divisions.  the Grand Heiress is considered the "Crown Princess" and will take the throne in the event the Grand Sovereign cannot complete her reign.

Investitures and honorary distinctions are discretionary recognitions and are not determined by competition scores. Such honors are awarded by consensus of the Sovereigns' Circle, subject to the approval of the Grand Sovereign and the organization.

5. Photo Submission and Artificial Intelligence Disclosure

Submitted photographs must present a truthful likeness of the applicant. Minor retouching, including lighting adjustment, color correction, and standard photographic enhancement, is permissible. Artificial intelligence and digital enhancements may be used sparingly, provided they do not materially alter or misrepresent the applicant’s true appearance. Images deemed excessively manipulated, misleading, or deceptive may be flagged for review, rejected, or disqualified at the organization’s discretion.

6. Media Release

Applicants grant permission for the organization to use submitted photographs, video, likeness, name, voice, and related materials for promotional, editorial, social media, livestream, broadcast, and advertising purposes without further compensation.

7. Conduct

Applicants agree to conduct themselves in a manner consistent with the standards, integrity, and reputation of the Sovereign Ms. organization.

The organization reserves the right to refuse, revoke, or terminate participation in cases involving misconduct, misrepresentation, or actions deemed harmful to the organization.

8. Schedule, Format, and Program Changes

The organization reserves the right to modify schedules, venues, programming, judges, competition formats, awards, or event details when necessary.

9. Limitation of Liability

Participation is voluntary.

Applicants assume responsibility for their own travel, lodging, personal property, and participation.

The organization, its officers, staff, contractors, and venue partners shall not be liable for losses, damages, injuries, delays, cancellations, or circumstances beyond its control.

10. Governing Authority

These terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee.

Required Acknowledgements

By submitting this application, I acknowledge and agree:

• I understand that all placements and titles are determined solely by judges’ scores and official tabulation.

 

• I understand that there is one Grand Sovereign, Division Sovereigns by age division, and that the Grand Heiress is awarded to the Division Sovereign with the second-highest overall score.

 

• I acknowledge that Sovereign Ms. is an age-specific competition for women 40 and above.

 

• I acknowledge that Sovereign Ms. is not a size-specific pageant and that all delegates are judged on the same standard, as outlined on the website and in the delegate handbook.

 

• I certify that all information submitted in my application is true and accurate.

 

• I understand and agree to the Photo and Artificial Intelligence Disclosure policy.

 

• I understand and agree that all fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.

 

• I grant the Media Release contained herein.

 

• I have read and agree to these Terms and Conditions in full.
