Most cherished accomplishment: Becoming a mom and rebuilding my entire life after surviving a rare (one in a billion…YES, billion with a “B”) illness, then turning that journey into a leadership platform for women everywhere.

Cause or passion: Reign and Shine: Guiding Women to Lead. I help women of all shapes, shades, and sizes step into their leadership, own their visibility, and create opportunities for the women who follow.

Tradition or rule of etiquette:  Treat everyone like they belong at the table—because they do.

A decision I made on instinct: Entering a pageant for the first time at 40 just so I could finally buy myself a beautiful gown, and discovering it would change my entire life, business and career.

A voice you carry with you from the past:  My grandmother’s voice, reminding me to stay gracious, stay humble, and stay strong. And go out and kick butt!

What do people misunderstand about women in their 40s?  People assume we’re slowing down. They have no idea…we’re just getting started. Our 40s are the decade of clarity, confidence, and walking into rooms like we own them!
